Newly-built Zhengzhou-Xi'an Passenger Dedicated Line

New Zhengzhou-Xi'an Passenger Dedicated Line is totally 484.518 km long (in which the main line is 456.639 km long), and the bridges and tunnels account for 59.75% of the total line length, with maximum annual transport capacity of 83.4 million people, of which about 37 million people for recent time; the design speed is 200~350 km/h; the line was constructed as double-track and covers an area of 28,903 acres; along the line, there are totally 13 stations(Newly-built 10), in which the Henan section possesses such six stations as new Yingyang station,  new Gongyi station , Luoyang South station , New Mianchi station, new Sanmenxia station , new Lingbao station ; Shaanxi section covers new Huashan station, New Weinan station , New Lintong station, Xi'an North station, Xianyang West station, (new) Yangling station, Wuzhangyuan station, (new) Baoji station. The construction period of this railway is 4 years and it was put into trial operation in July, 2009; its major works include 45.29 million cubic meters of earthwork, 2.95 million cubic meters of graded gravel, and the estimated total investment cost (dynamic) is 54.668 billion Yuan.

The main works taken by CRAC: foundation pile testing (third party testing), tunnel monitoring and testing, subgrade testing (sampling test on behalf of Supervision Station, Ministry of Railways of China). The monitoring and testing works were carried out to create a good quality standard for owner and laid a solid foundation for the quality of the first passenger dedicated line in central China.
